I have removed the bottom portion which holds the BEATER BAR in place. The old belt broke, so i bought a new one but cant seem to figure out how to get to the motor to put the new belt on. There is no where that i can find to remove screws so that the plastic cover can be removed. There must be a way. And I'm pretty good at figuring things out like this....But not this time. That said, look for two plastic sliders that allow you to remove the top of the machine. That is how mine works, anyway.
