My drive belt seems to squeal whenever it rains but then goes away after a day or two. Should I change my drive belt? or better yet, is there a way to prevent it from getting wet?When to change drive belt on 2002 Acura RSX?your car came with an underguard to protect the engine from water and debri...also it has a hood that covers the whole engine bay.....but then agian, it should be your drive belt since its covered, but more like the alternator or ac belt thats squealing...
try some belt lubricant on it first to see how it runs for a while....also inspect the belt for any cracks or wear....or just loosen it alittle...most of the time it squeals is because its too tight or too loose
